We remain steadfast in our commitment to the physical and emotional safety and wellbeing of each Diegueño student. We believe that being both proactive and reflective with our safety measures and student, staff, and family education will reinforce your student’s physical and emotional safety on our campus.
District Safety Committee
The San Dieguito Union High School District maintains a district-level safety team to address and coordinate issues of concern to the entire District. The Associate Superintendent of Business Services leads the committee, which includes representatives for each school site, district facility, teachers, and support staff.
School Site Safety Team
Each school site has a School Safety team with a site School Safety Coordinator who leads a committee that meets to review ongoing safety concerns, to maintain the Crisis Response Plan, and to ensure consistent review of Disaster Response Plan and implementation of drills.

- Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) from San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center - Help keep our community safe by reporting information regarding potential threats and criminal activity. Please use the appropriate buttons above for reporting suspicious activity.
- WeTip: Anonymous Reporting of Safety Concerns - Students, parents, staff, and the community can report suspicious and/or illegal activities including bullying, drugs, weapons, theft, or other crimes in the school environment anonymously by contacting the We-Tip Hotline, (800)78-CRIME (800-782-7463) or by going to the WeTip website to file an online report. Tips may earn up to a $1000 reward.
School Safety Is Everyone's Concern: How You Can Help
SDUHSD has worked with local law enforcement to identify the best tool to report incidents that may impact our school environment. The San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center operates a Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) system for our county. You can help to keep our schools safe by reporting directly to the SAR
school threat site. Although it does ask for identifiable information, you may submit your tip anonymously and the tip will still get routed to your local law enforcement.
