This spring at DNO, we introduced Thrively to all of our students through three Counseling Advisory lessons. Our students created a Thrively account then started with an industry-first Strengths Assessment that helps them discover their unique strengths, interests, and aspirations. Students will continue to use Thrively in future Advisory lessons to support self-awareness and career exploration, with the goal of providing guidance for CTE pathways in high school. Students can access their Thrively account any time for continued exploration. When students created a Thrively account, they were prompted to provide a parent email address or phone number to notify parents of account creation and results of your student's strength assessment, participation is voluntary. California CareerZone is a career exploration website that allows students and job seekers to learn more about themselves and the world of work. Students, you can create your own account and take the Quick Assessment and the Interest Profiler to explore careers, colleges, degrees, and job opportunities.
